Apple’s A9 processor is based on a newer process and it textures unique tri-core architecture which is 70% faster than A8 with a 90% faster GPU. It has a brand new Touch ID sensor. The iPhone 6S is constructed from the 7000 series aluminum. Is 3D Touch screen display enough to make it a market hit that remains to be seen?
The most important camera innovation on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is Live Photos. When Live Photos is enabled (which can be toggled as easily as HDR mode or flash on and off), your phone will take still photos as usual, but just before taking a still photo and a small low-resolution video immediately after.
When you view an image in the Photos app, the Live Photo appears as a small animation, and you can touch the image in 3D to see the complete Live Photo with video and audio.
The iPhone 6s now has an increased front camera resolution of 5 megapixels, which is very welcome as the iPhone’s selfie camera is starting to look outdated.
